by Allan Yeager, Trustee and Communications Officer Our wonderful web site, www.cslsr.org, is a source of information and inspiration for our congregants and also people around the world. Visitors view video recordings of Sunday messages, read the Sunday announcement pages, learn about upcoming events, and find information about our ministries and groups. Visitors also consult the directories of staff, trustees, and prayer practitioners. They submit prayer requests and they read recent member blog posts. Folks who register in Our Online Community find even more features such as sending messages to friends, uploading photos to share with others, and joining groups that appeal to them. Several new groups in Our Online Community that we think you will find useful are
- Business Marketplace, a group for members to share information about their businesses, services, and products. This online community is available to the general public and the Center offers this group as an information sharing service to our online community.
- Prayer Partners Connection, a group for people who want to find and connect with a Prayer Partner. Post your request on the group wall to connect with a Prayer Partner.
- Employment Connections, a group for people offering employment
and looking for employment connections and information. This group is offered as a convenience to members of the site to connect with each other and share information.
- Carpool/Rideshare, providing a place to post for those needing rides to the Center and for folks who can provide rides to those who need them.
And remember that whenever you are on our web site, you are welcome to submit a question if you should encounter any difficulty. Just click on “Web Site Support” located at the bottom of every page. A member of our Web Site Team will respond promptly with an answer to your question.
Grateful thanks go to the following members who serve with me on the Center’s Web Site Team: Chris Bird, Georgett Eggel, Keith Eggel, Rob Mayfield, Christine Mason McCaull, Scott Rosen, Jim Thomason, and Dr. Edward Viljoen.
