Sunday Morning Services

Our morning services are at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30. All three services are identical to one another—same topic, speaker, and music, and follow our planned themes and topics for the year. For this month's Sunday morning schedule, see the box on the right. The services last for about an hour, with refreshments and enrichment materials available in the Social Hall before and after each service. One-on-one prayer is available after each service in Grinton Chapel. There is a silent meditation from 9:35 to 9:50 in Room 6 (upstairs).

For those coming to the Center with young people, we have a staffed nursery for children up to age 3. We provide a youth program for children between the ages of 4 and 12 during the 10:00 and 11:30 am services in Rooms 1 and 2. Our teen group meets from 11:15 to 12:45 in Room 11 (North Wing - access through last set of doors facing parking lot). For babes in arms and toddlers, we have a Family Room at the back of the Sanctuary, complete with rocking chairs (enter from Social Hall near elevator).

Sunday Evening Services

Sunday Evening Services are held at 7 pm in Room 10 (North Wing).

First Sunday: "Frolicking with the Infinite" with Maggie Cole, RScP. With music, prayer, affirmation, and a powerful message, Maggie openly shares her intuitive wisdom and sense of humor to provide an atmosphere that inspires and heals.

Second Sunday: "A Spiritual Feast" with Maggie Cole, RScP. Maggie facilitates a conversation that ignitges what is alive in the hearts and minds of all who attend this open forum discussion. This is a place where all who desire to be seen and heard have the opportrunity to share and be acknowledged for their value and contribution. Prayer requests are offered and Practitioners are available for prayer following the service.

Third Sunday: "Living A Course in Miracles" with Rev. Kim Kaiser. This monthly series highlights specific practices we can use to apply the teaching of A Course in Miracles to our lives. You do not have to read the course or practice the daily lessons it provides. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to experience your world in an entirely new way.

Fourth Sunday: "Embracing Community" with Ministerial Intern Tara Steele, RScP. Join Tara to celebrate the practices, values, and commitments at the heart of a thriving community, deepening connection, moving toward a world that works for everyone.

Fifth Sunday: "Date Night with the Divine" with Rev. Josephine Smith.

Topics for this month are shown in the box on the right.

Monthly World Peace Meditation

Since 1986 a group of committed people have been meeting at the Center to pray and meditate together, on the last calendar day of every month (except in October when we meet on the 30th) at 7 pm. Our common intention is to focus our awareness on peace—the inner peace that is the revelation of world peace. Our vision is nothing less than the healing of humanity and the evolution of consciousness. Everyone is welcome to join us in this simple practice which usually lasts for about 45 minutes. For more information, please contact Vivian Strand at 707-953-1917.

Annual World Peace Meditation

December 31 at 4 am - Join your community and the rest of the world at this time to center in peace. This powerful tradition has been observed at the Center since December 31, 1986. Why 4 am? It is noon, Greenwich Mean Time, and it is December 31 in all 24 time zones. We will be meditating, singing, and praying for peace simultaneously with people throughout the world. Feel free to wear your jammies and bring a blanket.

Annual New Year’s Eve Vigil

Open to the New Year by communing with Spirit at our annual New Year’s Eve Vigil. Rest in silence and prayer, sitting around our beautifully created World Peace Altar.
