Teen Group

Teen Fundraising

Our teen group is well on their way to raise funds that will help finance their attendance to this summer’s CSL teen camp in Southern California.  So far the group has raised approximately $1,100.00 through bake sales, our teen overnight event and pre-sales of Mother’s Day baskets.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in helping us reach our goal of raising  $3,000.00.  These funds will assist us with transportation costs as well as cover registration costs of our teen advisor’s who will support our teens attending this life affirming and empowering camp experience.

The CSL summer camp will be held at the beautiful Camp Buckhorn located in the mountains of Idyllwild Ca. from July 14-21st.  This is an annual event where teens from across the globe gather for a week of growing together in spiritual community.  This year’s camp theme “Here we grow again” is set to be another amazing opportunity for individual growth, community building and spiritual enrichment for youth ages 13-18.

Individual registration to attend camp is $420.00 for the week and includes lodging, food, workshops and group activities.  Teens who have attended these camps have gone on to become leaders in our global CSL communities serving in a variety of ways to nourish and support ongoing spiritual enrichment programs that serve both the youth and adult communities.

If you would like more information on how you can support our teen group please contact our teen coordinator Bill Frater at

Celebrating community - Teen Overnight

On April 20 and 21 our teen group hosted a Northern California teen overnight at the Center for Spiritual Living Santa Rosa. Approximately 50 teens and advisers were in attendance representing six spiritual communities from Santa Rosa, Oakland, Sacramento, Redding, Monterey and Santa Cruz.

The Santa Rosa teens and advisers worked together in committees to plan the details of the event such as menu planning, shopping, opening activities, games, workshop planning and facility set up.

The workshops were wonderful and allowed us to learn about each other and ourselves, to release fears and trust and to plant new seeds of consciousness that nourish our hearts, each other and the world around us.

Our time together was joy filled and enlightening as we made new friends and celebrated community with our extended spiritual family.

Many thanks to everyone who had a hand in planning, preparing and presenting this event. Special thanks to volunteer Kathryn Jurik who treated us to a delicious home cooked breakfast and to our wonderful Center for giving us a place to grow and share with others the gifts of living a spiritual life.

We are so grateful.
