At the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa, we express our devotion, joy, and creativity through music. Music opens our hearts to spiritual practice.
Our house band, choir, community, and guest artists are all part of what the music ministry brings to the Center. Whether it’s drumming classes, classical music, funky gospel, chant, kirtan, or special seasonal music—the Center truly hums. It is all intended to create an atmosphere in which people feel that the natural home of God is in their heart.
The Center for Spiritual Living Music Ministry draws on the abundant talent in our community. Some of our most frequently seen perfomers on Sunday mornings include Paul Sarran on bass, Tom Yanes on guitar and vocals, Steve Jones and Cairyl Gardner on drums, Steven Anderson, Z Egloff, Edward Viljoen, and Joyce Duffala on keyboard and Melissa Phillippe, Claire Victor (our choir director), Allyson Paige, Tracy Stewart, Chris Bird, Carol Shields, Ruth Cardin, John Torres, Mike and Betty Perkins, Larry Wendt, Wayne Ritchie, Wayne Carr, Linda Garth, Morningsong, Rupali, Elin Chadwick, Steve Barry, Laura Feahr, Emily Hamilton, Michael Van Why, Jim DuVander, and many others.
Sunday and Wednesday Evening Service music is frequently provided by Ron and Pam Atchison, Lisa Hamilton, Denise Prue, Paul Sarran, Tom McCurry, Sahar, and many others.
The key phrase is "many others."
