Our Nonprofit Partners for 2013 were nominated by people from our Center who have either benefited from the services of a group or who are closely connected to it. After receiving the nominations, the Giving Intention Team selected the following twelve organizations.
Bal Ashram – A safe home and school in Varanasi, India, for orphaned and abandoned children. http://www.sonomaashram.org.

Earle Baum Center for the Blind – Serving people with sight loss from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon Border. http://earlebaum.org .
Khmer Child Foundation – Empowering the lives of Cambodian children through education and quality of life assistance. http://www.khmerchildfoundation.org.
The Launching Pad - A unique young adult ministry in Berkeley that hosts a weekly Friday night service that includes dinner, music, spiritual discussion, and nurturing activities. http://www.launchingpadberkeley.com.
Legal Aid of Sonoma County – Using the legal system to secure basic human rights, and helping at-risk children and families obtain safety and shelter. http://legalaidsc.org.
PDI Surgery Center – Treating children under general anesthesia to eliminate the pain, suffering, and distractions caused by living with severe tooth decay. http://www.pedidental.org.
Sonoma County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy – Providing interfaith emotional support and follow-up care to law enforcement personnel and also to members of the community who have suffered tragedy and loss. http://www.sonomalawchaplains.org.
Sonoma Humane Society – Leading the fight to end animal overpopulation and to rescue, rehabilitate, and place thousands of animals into loving homes. http://www.sonomahumane.org.
Verity: Sonoma County Rape Crisis Center - Working in partnership with the community to eliminate all forms of violence, with a special focus on sexual assault and abuse. http://ourverity.org.
