Greetings!!!
This is a Moderate 8 mile round trip hike from Bear Valley Visitor's Center in the Point Reyes National Seashore Park to Arch Rock. It is moderate because of the length and not the elevation change.
Meet at the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa Parking lot at 9am, Saturday, August 18th. We will leave at 9:15 am sharp to carpool to Bear Valley Visitor's Center where our trail begins. Let me know if you will be willing to drive as well so more people can participate. We will sit and eat our lunch at the Arch which over looks the ocean. High Tide will be at 12:24pm so the waves should be stunning.
Bring your pack pack, water, lunch, hat and a layer that may be needed at the coast. This is guarenteed to be a scenic day of trees, brush, birds, flora and scents to drive any nature lover to the edge of euphoria; not to mention hiking in the good company of other souls.
