One Heart Choir Showcase

Posted by Sun Bell in Untagged

What a joy it was to sing in the One Heart Choir Showcase and to be a part of such a talented group. I received compliments about how professional we were singing our songs, the lighting, individual acts, the music, the Director and assistants, and how we looked. Happy to be a member of the community.

Purrforming Live on Radio and at Coffee Catz.....

Posted by Sun Bell in Untagged

Greetings from SuBell ~

My Duo, 'bell the cat', is purrforming on November 18, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. in an acoustic live evening on KGGV Radio with Host Wayne Webb interviewing us.December 9th; Friday 7 to 9 p.m. at Coffee Catz in Sebastopol.  On the set list will be some tunes from "Songs From The Wild" and new material for our next double CD, "Center of the Wheel". We look forward to seeing all your smiling supportive selves.

Our music video "Untamed Heart" is on the playlist as well as competing in the video contest at RightOut TV. You can go to this link and vote for us http://www.rightouttvawards.com/contact.html.

This summer I entered three new songs from our next CD in the U.S.A. Songwriting Contest and two in The International Songwriting Contest. Working on new songs feels like a "door" opening to something exciting, I don't know what but there is movement taking place, something lining up.

Another way to promote our music, please go to this link to get us more airplay. Thanks!

I'd be happy to send you a FREE mp3 from "Songs From The Wild" if you send me your email address and tell me which track you want, along a comment about what you think of the song you've chosen. You can go to http://www.songsfromthewild.com to hear samples.

My partner, June, and I are excited about the Art Show coming up later this month. We're entering a mosaic vase that we're creating together and I'm entering a photograph I took of a horse and her colt running. We'll be donating a few items for the Center as well, another art piece that June has and a few of my first award-winning CDs, Songs From The Wild.

I'm enjoying the classes, groups, and services on Sundays. I feel like I'm growing a lot from my involvement and creating a lot of good contacts with folks along the way. I've never enjoyed spirituality this way before and I'm grateful for that.

Let the music play and the light shine!

Greetings~ Check out a great cause to help save the Snow Leopard. It has beautiful pics and is using my song, "Untamed Heart". www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs5J_aMcguQ

The Gift

Posted by Sun Bell in Untagged

The Gift

Spirituality found me in many of its forms,

My life an open book to receive upon the pages.

Pages I was turning with each decision made,

Every thought pondered, words spoken, actions acted.

In infant form I began to search and question,

Unknowing how-to, but grasping, reaching, seeing.

Confusing differences in self gave me divine strength,

Pushed me beyond my boundaries into the All-That-Is.

Taking up my sword of knowledge against negative,

Accepting positive and affirming the existence of Oneness.

In me, through me, around me, without me, on and on,

A vastness that swallows it all and gives birth to all at once.

Mother/Father God always with me lighting my way,

Right or wrong, still, eternally, unconditionally It.

What I forever journeyed to find inside, outside,

Around my life, vast arms of protection, love, caring.

Now, the door nailed shut from judgement has sprung,

Opening, the truth of the Creator I was certain existed, seen.

A presence felt in all aspects of my existence bringing it on,

Offering a precious gift, feeling exactly right, I receive it graciously.
